Eidos to Publish Capcom Games
Eidos, not Capcom, will publish Resident Evil: Gun Survivor and Code Veronica in Europe and Australia.
This morning, Eidos Interactive and Capcom announced that the two companies have entered into a publishing agreement. Under the terms of the deal, Eidos will get the exclusive publishing and distribution rights to Capcom's Resident Evil: Survivor for the PlayStation and Resident Evil: Code Veronica for the Dreamcast throughout Europe and Australia.
"We are delighted to be extending our relationship with Capcom", said Eidos CEO Mike McGarvey. "Capcom's ability to create original content and long-term franchises is well established. We believe that Survivor and Code: Veronica will be excellent additions to our publishing portfolio.''
Gun Survivor will be released in Japan tomorrow, while Code Veronica will hit Japanese store shelves later next week.
