Eidos Fights The Force For Dreamcast

GameSpot received word on Thursday that Eidos Interactive will be supporting the Dreamcast. With this announcement, the company has revealed its first title for the Sega system, Fighting Force 2. The game is the sequel to the action game from Core Design, the creator of the Tomb Raider series.

Mike McGarvey, COO of Eidos, said, "The Dreamcast takes a step beyond anything we've ever seen in a video game console on the market today. Eidos is very excited to be entering this new era with such a strong launch product."

Fighting Force 2 will be available for the Sony PlayStation as well. It is scheduled to appear in stores during the holiday season.
