Echo Delayed On Disney+, Along With Agatha Series And X-Men '97 - Report

The WandaVision spin-off also supposedly has a new subtitle: Darkhold Diaries instead of Coven of Chaos.

Apparently Echo won't follow up Loki Season 2 this fall on Disney+. A new report suggests the Hawkeye spin-off has been delayed from November to January as part of a scheduling realignment by Marvel Studios.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Marvel wants to give each Disney+ series space to breathe, which would explain why Echo is getting delayed. Loki Season 2 premieres October 6 with a six-episode run that originally would lead almost straight into Echo on November 29.

In addition, the Hollywood writers strike and actors strike have also played a major role in Marvel shaking up its schedule. For example, the newly titled Agatha: Darkhold Diaries (previously subtitled Coven of Chaos) is now reportedly eyeing a fall 2024 premiere after originally hoping to land this winter.

X-Men '97 was also planned to premiere this year but now will apparently look to come out in early 2024. The animated series is a continuation of X-Men: The Animated Series from the 1990s, and a second season has already been confirmed.

Another animated series, Marvel's What If...? Season 2, will reportedly debut around Christmas even though it's not holiday-themed. A third season of the speculative fiction show has already been announced as well.

Finally, a trio of previously revealed Disney+ shows are currently without release windows. The report states that Daredevil: Born Again and Wonder Man were stopped mid-production because of the strikes. Meanwhile, Ironheart has supposedly finished shooting but can't be completed because of the ongoing labor disputes.
