With Donkey Kong Country Returns just a few weeks away, Nintendo Australia has teamed up with EB Games and Myer to give eager fans the opportunity to play it early in Sydney and Melbourne, respectively. Sydneysiders will be first to check out the game on November 27 at the flagship Myer store in the CBD, with the Melbourne demo happening the next day on the November 28 at the EB Games store on Swanson Street. For full details on the two public events, check out the list at the bottom of the article.

Both public preview sessions kick off at 11:30 a.m. and go until 2:30 p.m. As an additional incentive, the first 200 people who play the game at each event will receive a free Donkey Kong Country Returns poster. There will also be T-shirt giveaways throughout both days, although the mechanics behind winning the shirts are sketchy at this stage.

Donkey Kong Country Returns is marked for release in Australia on December 2. Stay tuned for a full review soon.
