Pogo.com is the leading provider of Internet-based family games, and it has about 17 million registered members and provides popular family-oriented entertainment including card games, board games, puzzles, arcade classics, and trivia games. According to EA.com, the company plans to use the large amount of traffic on Pogo.com to help deliver upcoming titles such as Majestic and The Sims Online. In addition, the deal will let Pogo.com take advantage of EA.com's distribution deals with AOL, allowing it to provide content to AOL's large audience as well.
