EA throws a party and announces two new MySims games

i wish that is was more role-playing types of stuff. i don't need any more racing games or mini-games. i think i'll be fine with just my sims and kingdom.

my sims party is basically mario party. But hey my sims is a fun so thats cool with me.

Hmmm seems interesting. But I agree with BloodyPirate, I was really hoping when I read the article for a real virtual-life My Sims game. I myself LOVE My Sims Kingdom and I finished the whole game! Yay me! :P Anyway, I'm still probably gonna buy either Party or Racing. Lol. :D

Oh dear mercy..... Doesn't the wii have enough party games?!?! I was hoping that it was another My Sims game like the last two......

my sims kingdom and my sims on the ds were so boring but on the wii they were so fun. i bet these 2 new ones well be even better!!!!

I personely didn't like the other Sims but I actually really enjoyed MySim's Kingdom. MySims' Kingdom was the best Sim's game I've ever played! Rock on EA Games! P.S. I'm still hoping for more games that has the same similarity with MySims' Kingdom! (^.^)

I kind of hated MySims but MySims Kingdom was awesome! I hope MySims Part and MySims Racing is also great... Can't wait to try it out! =D

Oh please... I've just seen the MySims Racing game trailer and it just looks like a N64 game... It's called stealing when you sell a game for 50 bucks when it would worth a N64 game... Not gonna buy.

Mysims Party looked decent on gametrailers.com, but the racing one definitely looks like it needs a lot of improvements if the developers want to make it more than just a shovelware version of mariokart.

If you haven't gotten enough of MySims, you'd be happy to know that there will be two new titles to get your hands on in the near future. Electronic Arts has announced that << LINK REMOVED >> will be available sometime this year and we got a sneak peek at MySims Racing in its pre-alpha stage.

MySims Party includes familiar faces from the previous << LINK REMOVED >> and << LINK REMOVED >>. It's a compilation of short and easy minigames that the whole family can enjoy together. Last night, I was able to mess around with a few minigames on the Wii and the Nintendo DS with the developers. The DS will include an entirely new set of games that revolve around the DS's features. For example I played a minigame where I had to chisel around a fossil and blow away the dirt. The Wii version seemed to have a wide variety of games that range from remote waggling to rhythm based swinging, as well as games that rely completely on chance. The presentation of the game is nicely done, with vibrant colors and festive backdrops. We should be able to provide a more detailed hands-on in the next few weeks when we receive a preview build of the game.

<< LINK REMOVED >>, even in its early stages, looked really good. It includes power-ups, drifting, road hazards and the ability to knock people completely off the track. Thankfully it also includes the ability to use any kind of controller figuration that suits your fancy.
