EA ships college football

NCAA Football 2003 is now in stores.

Electronic Arts has announced that the next installment in its college football series has shipped to stores. NCAA Football 2003 is the second PS2 installment in the series, and it is the first to grace the Xbox and the GameCube. The game features 117 Division I-A and 27 Division I-AA teams. Also, the game contains more than 200 team-specific fight songs and chants, 50 mascots, and 3D cheerleaders.

In the gameplay department, the game has college-specific plays and formations, such as dynamic wide receiver splits and new option variations. It also has a rivalry mode that will let players reenact key moments in 23 different historical situations and a dynasty mode that features player recruitment and schedule customization.

NCAA Football 2003 is available for a suggested retail price of $49.95.
