To each their own, it all comes down to what has been shown. Like superman is to Lex, so is the decision between PS4 Pro, Switch and the One X. On a scale of one through ten, God of War looks to be an eleven; the most powerful console in the world or not, I could care less about the same old Forza seven. The Metroid teaser gave me a nostalgic shiver; Spencer's year long teaser came in at an over promise , under deliver. On a scale of zero through one hundred, One X gets a zero because I couldn't help but to think about the Neo Geo; a powerful console, bringing the arcade home, but is it worth the dosh when they had only 1 1/2 games shown? The dream of the One X is soon to be faded like my last ex, so it's down to the Switch and PS4 Pro now that we have officially seen Sunday's track wreck. It's between Spencer's false modesty or pay half in October and get into the Odyssey. The red hat it is, that's all I needed to see because that 299 is a better deal than getting nothing for a five hundred dollar fee even if the teasers are free; even if in 2020, I might see one more preview of Crackdown three or in 2019, I am messing with thieves in the sea. Anyone else tired about the same old box shocks? Why do we need to jump two generations forward to go back and play the original xbox? Why keep showing Forza when it feels like the same thing was released last May; why not counter Day's Gone with showing more State of Decay? Spencer swaggered in as if they putting others to shame then showed us more car, than game.

This looks pretty darn good honestly. Wasn't expecting a new Yoshi and after the ultra sun/moon thing didn't expect after core pokemon game on the switch either. RL on Switch is very enticing.

Ninty brought it IMO.

Metroid is a start but it was only a teaser!? Nintendo needs to dig deep and take risks. They need new IP so badly. Splatoon wasn't enough. I feel like they need at least two new IPs. EA's 2008 year was impressive with Mirror's Edge and Dead Space. If Nintendo could find the resources to create two fresh IPs I think it could push company forward. Also wish they'd revive Nintendo Software Technology (NST). That was the American made Nintendo games at NoA's Seattle HQ. NoJ seems very insular and xenophobic these days.

@dotWithShoes: I did some research and Retro Studios is an American based subsidiary. That's a start. Thanks for the correction.

@doccobb: actually if they continue like this this system will have more games from Nintendo than the Wii U.. which was Nintendo's main goal

This just expanded on Wii U concept of tablet thing, so its not like they have to learn this stuff over, now it should be just games here on out..

As for when and how often those games are release, that's Nintendo fight right now, as they love to delay major stuff..

New Warriors game? Ah, what the hell, why not? I could use Pirate Warriors 4 if you don't mind.

There may be no Smash news, but honestly, Mario and Metroid were all I needed.

Keep doing your thing Nintendo. This is what the Switch needed. Nintendo needs to remain consistent with game releases and keep bringing in solid titles. I really hope they start to embrace more mature content though. Bayonetta and Fatal Frame were a good start last gen but I want to see more of that this time around. Eternal Darkness 2?
