Blizzard has announced a PlayStation-exclusive transmog set and released a new patch for the PC version of Diablo III.

The developer has revealed a Shadow of the Colossus-themed armor skin for owners of the PS3 and PS4 versions of the game. Blizzard has been building up to the launch of the PS4 version, Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition, throughout E3. On Twitter, Blizzard posted a picture of a Diablo character resembling the first Colossus from Team Ico's game, with a caption that reads, "Raise thy sword by the Light, heroes!"

The company also launched the newest update to the PC version of the game. Update 2.0.6 brings a number of significant changes to the monk class, among other improvements. Blizzard has increased the momentum passive skill to balance it with the other monk passive skills. Also, monk legendary items have been substantially buffed: "Legendary items are just as important to class power as class skills," Blizzard explains in the patch notes. "We recognize that the Monk class sets went out underpowered, and are substantially increasing their damage to be closer in comparison with the sets of other classes."

The requirement for unique crafting materials when crafting legendary items has also been removed. According to the patch notes, the previous legendary crafting system was "encouraging game flipping and similar less than ideal patterns of play in order to acquire [legendary materials]." On Monday, Blizzard revealed during the Sony E3 press conference that you will be able to fight enemies from The Last of Us in a PS4-exclusive Diablo III dungeon. It is unknown when the Shadow of the Colossus and Last of Us content will be made available. Including the base game and the Reaper of Souls expansion, The Ultimate Evil Edition will launch on August 19 for the Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 4. We thought that Reaper of Souls was great, and you can read our review here.
