The Dungeons and Dragons movie now has an official title and release date. The fantasy movie based on the famous tabletop game is called Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, and it's coming to theaters early next year.

As announced previously, it stars Chris Pine (Star Trek, Hell or High Water), Michelle Rodriguez (Avatar, Fast and Furious), Rege-Jean Page (Bridgerton), Justice Smith (Pokemon: Detective Pikachu), Hugh Grant (About A Boy, Love Actually), and Sophia Lillis (It).

Honor Among Thieves releases in theaters on March 3, 2023. The film is directed by Spider-Man: Homecoming writers Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley, from a script by Goldstein, Daley, and Michael Gilio.

The original Dungeons & Dragons movie was released in 2000 starring Oscar-winner Jeremy Irons, but it was a commercial failure and was poorly received by critics.

Plot details for the 2023 film are under wraps for now, but fans can expect it to feature dungeons and dragons.
