Gas Powered Games has finished up development on Dungeon Siege II: Broken World, as publisher 2K Games today announced the expansion to the PC action role-playing game has gone gold. Broken World begins where Dungeon Siege II left off and includes a new campaign, a new race, a new multiclass character-development system, and a conclusion to the story.

Broken World requires the original Dungeon Siege II to play. Gamers can bring their characters over to the expansion from the original game, or choose from a list of premade adventurers with sufficiently honed skills to handle the game's high-level content. Dungeon Siege is expected to ship to North American stores August 1.
