Meanwhile, the Xbone has most of its features unavailable at launch and delayed its meagre "launch" in half its Tier 1 countries. Whoops!

Otherwise, I'm happy to play with menus and mess around with settings, look at the box and so on until games release. Saying that, I think this will be the first gen I don't buy a launch console.

Wasn't sold on the Wii U at launch either. But this - << LINK REMOVED >> looks exciting, to me.

<< LINK REMOVED >>Yes but it still captured my interest. I am very fond of steampunk and Victorian England, so the game was an instant "wow, I'm paying attention to this", but I doubt I'll ever play it as I probably won't ever purchase a PS4 due to the fact I own a Wii U and a 2DS.

<< LINK REMOVED >> People are entitled to get the console of their choice, you'll never see me trying to persuade people against purchasing a new console. I do feel a lot of people are rushing out to buy these new consoles based solely on the hype surrounding them and the specifications and I do think those said people may find themselves either pleasantly surprised or bitterly disappointed (initally).

@19James89 @danabo Some of us like the shiny new hardware. I like the new console smell, probably shouldn't have mentioned that, but it's not just about games. Wii U is probably the way to go this holiday season, if you don't already own one.


EDIT: It irks me that every time I mention "one" I think xbox. Maybe it wasn't such a bad choice of name.
