Just yesterday DreamHack revealed that their Valencia stop of the 2014 open circuit will host a 16-team CS:GO tournament, continuing the trend they set when DH Valencia was the first CS:GO DreamHack event in 2012. Once again the Spanish city will host 16 teams, with special slots reserved for the local teams from Spain. A majority of the remaining 14 teams will be invited, although the exact distribution of teams is yet to be determined.

The prize purse is yet unknown, but previous editions of the tournaments in Spain had approximately €5,000 prize pools each. The tournament is set to be played in mid July, from 17th through the 20th at the regular Feria Valencia venue, with the qualifiers for local teams being played in May.

Over the last 2 years DreamHack Valencia had been won by Swedish teams, with n!faculty taking it in 2013 and Ninjas in Pyjamas taking their first offline title of their impeccable run in 2012.
