Dragon's Dogma 2 - Prey For The Pack Quest Guide

Some quests in Dragon's Dogma 2 are fairly straightforward, but there are those that will make you scratch your head. One of these takes place in the wilderness and you have to traverse the area at night. Here's our guide on how to complete Prey for the Pack in Dragon's Dogma 2.

How to complete Prey for the Pack in Dragon's Dogma 2

The Prey for the Pack quest comes from Morris. He's the item shop vendor in Checkpoint Rest Town. It seems that his grandson, Rodge, has been kidnapped. After promising to help him out, make your way near the oxcart station at the entrance of town. There, several NPCs should tell you about what may have happened to Rodge.

A marker appears on your map--the fields north of Checkpoint Rest Town. You're also given a hint regarding the Moonglow flowers that have an eerie blue glow at night.

However, upon arriving at the marked location, you'll realize that there's nothing there. But, if you continue to follow the Moonglow flowers, they'll lead you to the Putrid Cave all the way to the east. Inside, you need to defeat several rabid wolves.

With the wolves taken care of, you can escort Rodge out of the cavern. It's going to be a long trek since you need to bring him all the way back to Checkpoint Rest Town.

As an aside, it's possible to carry NPCs and then use a Ferrystone to travel to a waypoint. However, we're uncertain if this would work with Rodge for this quest. Even if it does, you might not want to waste Ferrystones this early in the campaign.

In any case, speak with Morris once you've returned Rodge safe and sound. He'll give you 11,000 gold and 2x Miracle Roborant. This completes the Dragon's Dogma 2 Prey for the Pack quest.
