At long last, the first chapter in Square Enix's Dragon Quest Builders series is coming to PC on February 13. Imagine if the art direction of Dragon Ball met Minecraft, and you'll have a pretty good idea of what to expect from this game. Or maybe you already do, as a sequel arrived a few years after the original for consoles and PC! If you're a PC user looking to see where this adorable and engrossing series began, preorders are now available. You can even get a big discount on the already budget-friendly release by preordering from Green Man Gaming.

Listed at $28, Dragon Quest Builders Steam codes can be purchased for $22.39 (a 20% discount) if you're a member of GMG's free XP rewards program. If you're not a member, you're missing out. Green Man Gaming regularly offers substantial preorder and new-release discounts to XP members.

The PC release of Dragon Quest Builders is surprisingly cheap, especially when you compare it to the Nintendo Switch port, which still carries a $50 price tag.

Alternatively, Square Enix will be offering a bundle via Steam that contains both games. And if you already own Dragon Quest Builders 2 on Steam, you'll be able to purchase the game at a discounted price.

In Dragon Quest Builders, you're tasked with rebuilding the ruined realm of Alefgard. For the PC release, there'll be upgraded crafting features and the Terra Incognita content that was originally added in 2022 to the mobile version. Notable additions to the PC release include single mouse-click building, a new undo button to quickly revert changes, and the Big Bash feature from Dragon Quest Builders 2. You'll also be able to share your builds with your friends by saving your structures as Build Cards.

Alongside the welcome quality-of-life changes to crafting, the Terra Incognita DLC includes a boss model set, astronomy set, a Pixel Ring that lets you craft special items, and a magic carpet--yes, you can glide through the sky on your magic carpet.

For a few more deals, don't miss out on this opportunity to grab three great Capcom games for $10 or this 50% discount on the fun turn-based strategy of Persona 5 Tactica for just $30 (was $60) at Amazon.
