Dragon Quest 11 Logo Appears Ahead of Reveal

A logo for Dragon Quest XI has been leaked, ahead of what was rumoured to be an official unveiling during a Square Enix stream on July 28.

The logo, which was uncovered by Gematsu, indicates that the eleventh entry in the main Dragon Quest series will be subtitled "In Search of Departed Time."

This tagline has not yet been confirmed by Square Enix, however, and it may be that this is not final, or differs in any additional territories the game may be released in.

A second logo on the official Dragon Quest website for something called Dragon Quest: Monster Battle Scanner has also been unearthed.

Square Enix's stream will be held on July 28 at 1 AM PT and 9 AM UK time. The event will be streamed on Niconico and YouTube.

In May 2015, Square Enix announced acclaimed Japanese role-playing game Dragon Quest VIII will be released on Nintendo 3DS. The re-release will feature a new scenario in which Garuda, a female thief, and Morrie, who some may recognise from Dragon Quest: Monster Battle Road, join as new characters.
