Dragon Age: Inquisition Wins GOTY at Game Awards

DAI didn't even deserve to beat out Dark Souls II or Divinity for best RPG let alone GOTY but looking at the judge list not surprising that it did win.

of course dragon age would win game of the year with all the gay propaganda and illuminati symbolism in it( and yes there is symbolism look at the all seeing eye on the shield and armor). its no wonder the liberals choose it to win.

dragon age didnt deserve game of the year at all. its only been out for a month and hasnt even resonated yet but its game of the year hell no. huge fail , bayonetta 2 is levels better then that game in everyway. tired of these european folklore tales winning awards their games are so boring and lack appeal only toward Europeans.

H8trs will H8t... but DA:I is my favorite overall GAME for 2014, and stands proudly right up there with Skyrim, whose main edge comes from the amazing modding community. Such a massive game, and not even any DLC yet. I can't wait.

I'm 170 hours into DA:I, and NO SEX...gay, straight, BDSM or furries (does Bull count?) I must be playing it wrong.

Best online Experience, is such a joke that CoD even made the list.

Looking at these lists, for me at least it was a rather pitiful year for games.

this year were so bad the selection is just awful

but hey, the next witcher just around the corner and he's gonna blow you away and make any other game look inferior

Shadow of Mordor is the only action/adventure game on the list that I played. I'm having trouble believing it's the best on the list, though. It was fun but, about 15 to 20 hours in, it started to get mighty repetitive. The nemesis system was cool but you get so powerful that you rarely die in the last half of the game, which pretty much kills off the whole nemesis system.

From what I've read of the other games, Alien: Isolation should have won.

I'm okay with DAI winning GOTY, but how in the hell is shadow of mordor even on this list? Shadow of mordor was basically assassins creed with less content and story. Not saying ACU should be on this list because I haven't played it and everyone keeps talking about it has bugs, but shadow of mordor also shouldn't be on this list.

Seriously, DA:I wins GOTY and its only been out ONE.... MONTH... and not even then. There were plenty of games out for serious contention.... but a game that has only been out for one month is now mysteriously GOTY, you can't tell me that politics and sponsorship didn't play a role.

While Inquisition is a great game and more than earned it's GOTY win, I personally felt Divinity: Original Sin was a better RPG.

Wow. I'm cool with Dragon Age winning game of the year, but best RPG? Nah. Dragon Age: Inquisition is about as much an RPG as Destiny is.

Let me get this straight. People are pissed that dragon age won?.. the fact that any of these games are mentioned means you should play them. Ive spent 126+ hrs into dragon age and i havent even completed the main story. Can i do that in bayonetta? Unlikely at best. Not saying its a bad game, because its awesome. I remember less than a year ago alot of the people posting here were saying EA was going to **** up the game. How bioware is dead somehow. Those people are a bunch of idiots. I know you idiots are in here somewhere. Bioware doesnt get shit for credit because its all about EA. So whine some more if you would. That fact that some of you complain and bitch about a good game earning an award means your just a bunch of children. All the games on the lists are good games. Redeem yourselves and go play them
