Donkey Kong Country 2 dated for Europe

Nintendo announced today that it will release a Game Boy Advance version of Donkey Kong Country 2 in Europe on June 25. The game was originally released for the SNES console in 1995 and saw Diddy Kong and his girlfriend Dixie Kong attempting to rescue Donkey Kong from the menacing Kaptain K. Kool.

The game boasts no fewer than 40 action-packed levels for players to negotiate as well as a number of minigames, including Funky's Flights, Bonus Bonanza, Expresso's Racing, Bag a Bug, and the all-new Diddy's Dash. No North American release date for the game has been announced at this time, but we'll bring you more information on the game as soon as it becomes available.
