A new Disney game is in the works for Apple Arcade. Disney Melee Mania from developer Mighty Bear Games is what appears to be a MOBA-style game featuring Disney and Pixar characters.

The game features 3v3 battles where players duke it out to become the next Disney champion. Matches run for five minutes inside of an arena, and the first images and video make it look like some type of MOBA.

Disney Melee Mania will have 12 characters at launch, with more to come "regularly" after launch. Each character has their own set of moves and cosmetics to unlock. The confirmed characters so far include Wreck-It Ralph, Elsa, Mickey Mouse, Frozone, Moana, and Buzz Lightyear.

"Throughout five-minute matches bursting with battle arena action, players will need to score the most points possible--or defeat the opposing team as many times as they can--for a chance at victory," reads a line from the game's description. "They'll join fast-paced multi-player battles that put each character's unique abilities to the test in close-combat competition, with multiple modes and challenges to test their skills, and also earn in-game rewards from events."
