Details for 2014's WCS EU Challenger League released

Here's what you need to know to qualify as one of the 24 players for the Challenger League.

Interested in seeing your callsign in lights? Beginning 4th January 2014, three online qualifiers, with matches taking on a best of three format in a single elimination bracket, will be held. The top 6 from each day will qualify for the Challenger League of WCS Europe's first season of 2014. To participate in the first three cups, you are required to be a citizen of the European region, Middle East or Africa. Your Battle.net Account must be ranked in Master League.

The dates for these are as follows:

  • January 4th, 14:00 CET: Qualifier #1
  • January 5th, 14:00 CET: Qualifier #2
  • January 11th, 14:00 CET: Qualifier #3

The fourth cup, which follows a virtually identical format to the firs three, will allow anyone to participate regardless of nationality. Again, to qualify, you're going to need to be at least Master League and have a minimum of 200 wins. The Wildcard qualifier will take place on Januar 12th 2014 at 14:00 CET.
