Destiny Going Offline Today for Six Hours
Servers are coming down today, starting at 8 AM PDT, for scheduled maintenance.
Due to scheduled maintenance, Destiny servers will be down for about six hours today, September 3, Bungie has announced. The maintenance period will begin at 8 AM PDT / 11 AM EDT, and work is expected to be completed at 2 PM PDT / 5 PM EDT. That's a total downtime of about six hours.
If you're signed into Destiny before the maintenance period begins, you will receive an in-game notice about the imminent downtime. "Once maintenance is concluded, all services and Destiny login functionality will be restored," Bungie wrote, adding that Bungie.net sign-in and the Destiny companion app "may be restricted" during the maintenance period.
