Deft joins EDG

After weeks of speculation, former Samsung Blue AD Carry Kim "Deft" Hyuk-kyu has confirmed that he will be joining the Chinese team Edward Gaming.

It's unclear if Edward Gaming's current AD Carry Zhu "NaMei" Jia-Wen will remain with the team as Edward Gaming still has not officially announced their main roster. It is speculated that Heo "PawN" Won-seok will also be joining the team, but no official announcements have been made so far. Rumors have been circulating that Namei will either retire or join Team OMG, but this information is currently unverified.

Edward Gaming were the strongest Chinese team heading into the World Championships this year with the team winning both LPL splits. They did not perform as expected at Worlds, however, and fell to Starhorn Royal Club in the quarterfinals.
