Deadpool 3 Adds The Crown Star Emma Corrin, Maybe As A Villain

In addition to Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, Deadpool 3 will co-star Emma Corrin. Corrin was a breakout star on The Crown, portraying Princess Diana.

Who, exactly, Corrin will play in Deadpool 3 is unknown. However, Deadline reports that Corrin will portray a villain. Corrin seemingly confirmed the casting news on Instagram, sharing a screenshot of Deadline's story and captioning it, "holy helllll."

Stranger Things and Night at the Museum director Shawn Levy is directing Deadpool 3, which is written by series scribes Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese.

Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige is a producer on Deadpool 3, and it marks the first Deadpool movie with Marvel Studios working alongside Reynolds and his team. The first two Deadpool films were produced under the Fox banner, but Disney now owns the Deadpool series as part of its massive buyout of many of Fox's entertainment properties.

Corrin currently stars in the stage play Orlando, while they recently signed a deal to appear in the new movie Nosferatu from director Robert Eggers.

Deadpool 3 releases November 2024, with production expected to begin in March 2023. Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) and Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) team up in the film. Jackman's Wolverine died at the end of the movie Logan, but he'll somehow appear in Deadpool 3.
