Tecmo has announced that Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball has shipped to retailers across North America. Tecmo has revealed that the first shipment of the game will boast lenticular covers featuring characters in various locations found within the game. Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball gives players an opportunity to play as one of several characters from the Dead or Alive series while visiting an island where the characters can volleyball or hop into the casino to play a variety of card games. The game recently received an M rating by the ESRB.

"We are very excited for the launch of Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball," said John Inada, director of marketing and sales at Tecmo. "Since the beginning we have been very tight-lipped concerning the special features within this game. Now that DOAX has shipped, we cannot wait to let gamers in on all the little secrets that this amazing game has to offer."
