I get a chuckle from people that get on forums and give their critique and then give the I'll pass comment. Yet they have never seen the show but act like they have some greater insight then the rest of us. Let me give you the 411, no one cares if you are going to see the show or not. The show is like a city bus on a schedule. You can either get on it and enjoy the show like the rest of us or you can hear about it later. But please spare us your weak critique like we can't decides for ourselves.

It's generous of DC to film and publish a 13-year-old's fanfiction. That's what this is, right?

Judging by the terrible effects and costumes and embarrassingly bad dialogue, that's the only reasonable possibility. I don't care that Starfire is a person of color - it's great - but the costumes and effects make her look so damn bad. This just seems so over-the-top in trying to be "dark" and "gritty", it's sad. I'd be absolutely shocked if this survived on its own merit instead of DC pumping money into it and forcing it into existence past the first run.

for all those who criticize those of us who do not support this....(fill in appropriate noun or adjective here) on the grounds that it's too 'edgy' i would respectfully disagree on these grounds:

Robin: i can live with him bearing a grudge against Bats. but from what i've seen, i am reminded of 'attack of the clones' Anakin. pouty, whiny, petulant and heavy on the entitled brat motif. i can see outbursts of anger against the criminals but as was pointed out the 'f- bat-man' line was heavy on the childish side.

Raven: instead of the moody, somewhat dark and torn half demon girl, we get somewhat angst filled emo girl who studies cliches instead of magic and ancient lore. there's no pain or foreboding about her.

Starfire: ugh. they could have been more true to her established appearance for one thing, pull up pretty much any starfire cosplay and you have a better example. no she doesn't have to be the comedic focus of the movie with her misunderstanding of earth but she could be a good counterbalance to Robin and provide some middle ground.

i don't know about beast boy or any other characters but with what i've seen, i don't think they will be enough to save this.

The glass breaking at the end showing the title looked like fucking crap, looks cheap, i'm ok with Robin murdering people left and right, go all punisher on criminals, thats cool, i can't no longer stand pussy "heroes" like Luke cage and Jessica jones whose serie's plot could be resolved in the first episode if they actually had the strenght to do what should be done, if you catch my meaning.

Just recently I watched the first couple of episodes of Marvel's Cloak and Dagger, incredibly well written, acted and well, just all around great. DC needs to give it up, they'll never be a able to match the good Marvel stuff on tv. To be sure, not Everything Marvel is a hit, Inhumans was a failure and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D needed a couple of seasons to get really good, but still, most Marvel on TV is very good. 'Nuff said.

I'd say DC should just walk away from live action TV and movies and stick to what they're good at, animation...but apparently someone's watching their live action stuff, so maybe I'm wrong.

What is the obsession with feeling the need to go super dark with this stuff. I mean I have no problem with being a bit mature or serious but what of a lot of these studios are doing just goes overboard with it.

This looks nice and all, but they just changed so much what Teen Titans was, and they ignored even then newest cartoon reboot of Teen Titans, where Robin became Nightwing and grew up like Starfire and new Teen Titan Robin was Damien Wayne and still young Raven and those latter have fling now. And Raven always knew she was and where she came from, and what was her burden and powers.

They basically just messed it up and replaced it with gory violence.

I got the subscription. A big DCU fan. Disappointed in a couple of their live action movies but this subscription will be worth it. The new take on Robin is interesting. Not feeling the Starfire character but I will give it a chance. Great to watch the animated series, Young Justice and the their great animated movies

This honestly looks like a fanmade trailer. Nothing about this felt like it’s gonna be a professionally made show. I thought this was a joke.

The negative flashes at the beginning and glass breaking effect at the end are the most interesting aspects of the trailer. Like, who TF saw that and said, "Yup, looks good."
