In 2005, Crave Entertainment snatched the rights to the Dave Mirra BMX game franchise from the ashes of defunct publisher Acclaim. Crave released its first Mirra-branded effort, Dave Mirra BMX Challenge, for the PlayStation Portable last November. Now Mirra is once again tackling the console world, as Crave has announced a Wii edition of BMX Challenge, set for release in June.

Dave Mirra BMX Challenge will feature a dozen levels that can be played in race or stunt modes, 13 bikes to ride, and customizable characters. Of course, Crave is also including multiple new control schemes to take advantage of the Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers.

Dave Mirra BMX Challenge will retail for $29.99. For more on the PSP edition of the game, check out GameSpot's review.
