Acclaim announced today that it has shipped Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX for the Dreamcast to retailers. The first BMX game for the Dreamcast, Dave Mirra features ten real-world BMX stars, a career mode, 1,300 possible tricks, 12 environments, and a licensed soundtrack featuring bands like Sublime, Cypress Hill, and Rancid.

"We're very excited to bring the first BMX game to the Dreamcast," stated Steve Felsen, brand director of Acclaim Max Sports. "Based on its success with other platforms and the addition of better graphics and faster gameplay, we know gamers will have an exhilarating ride."
