"Marvel TV and Marvel Studios are two very different things."

While the characters of Marvel's movies and TV shows share the same universe, behind the scenes, the two entities are run separately. The next Avengers movies--Infinity War Part One and Part Two--promise to bring together dozens of superheroes from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, Daredevil star Charlie Cox isn't certain he will be included.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Cox explained that the success of the Netflix TV show was no guarantee that they would bring Daredevil over to the MCU. "I have no idea [how the universe will come together]," he said. "Marvel TV and Marvel Studios are two very different things. So even if the character was to appear in that film, that doesn't necessarily mean that I would appear in that film."

"I will pick a fight with the guy that they choose," he added.

Avengers: Infinity War directors Joe and Anthony Russo recently spoke about the massive cast that the two films will feature. "We have so many characters we're dealing with. We're breaking ground on Avengers: Infinity War. We have a board with 67 characters on it," they announced at Wizard World in New Orleans.

Daredevil season two is to be released onto Netflix in its entirety on March 18. Last week it was also reported that The Punisher, who will appear in the new Daredevil season, could also receive a standalone Netflix show. Avengers: Infinity War Part One arrives in 2018, with Part Two following in 2019.
