You've got more powerful skills to play with in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty. These Relic abilities become available very early in the expansion, and you'll be able to select a few as you progress further. Our guide discusses just what you can expect when you choose these new quirks.

All Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty Relic abilities

The Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty Relic abilities are unlocked as a mechanic during the expansion's first quest: Dog Eat Dog. Once you start the expansion's campaign, you'll receive a call from a netrunner named Songbird. Go to the marked location, which is just across the gate that leads into Dogtown. As you make your way through the hidden path, Songbird will tweak your Relic, which unlocks a new skill tree.

Songbird also gives you three Relic points to allocate. Here's how they work:

  • There are three major Relic abilities: Jailbreak, Emergency Cloaking, and Vulnerability Analytics. Each of these require three points.
  • Major abilities also have related minor abilities, which require only one point.
  • You can earn more Relic points by progressing further in the campaign and by finding Relic Terminals.

Jailbreak - Allows you to perform a Leap Attack with the Mantis Blades; a kill also causes you to dismember your target, which charges your next Leap Attack. This unlocks the following minor abilities:

  • Spatial Mapping - Leap Attacks with your Mantis Blades cripple enemies and increase dismemberment chance against those foes for 10 seconds.
  • Limiter Removal - The shockwave from a charged Gorilla Arms attack knocks down all hostiles within range.
  • Launch Capacity Override - Adds one charge to your Projectile Launch System.
  • Data Tunneling - If one enemy is affected by a Monowire-uploaded quickhack, normal Monowire attacks that hit that target and other opponents simultaneously will also spread the quickhack's effects.

Emergency Cloaking - Using an Optical Ammo cyberware in combat also causes enemies to lose track of you, allowing you to escape. Also makes a minor ability available:

  • Sensory Protocol - While crouching, getting detected by an enemy will slow time. If you dodge or dash out of the enemy's line of sight, you'll exit combat.

Vulnerability Analytics - Allows you to detect vulnerabilities in enemy armor and cyberware. Hitting these vulnerabilities grants +100% critical chance, +25% armor penetration, and weakspot damage bonuses; dealing more damage also causes an EMP blast. This also makes a minor ability available:

  • Machine Learning - Destroying a target's vulnerability causes a 10% increase to the chance of new vulnerabilities appearing, and a 5% increase to crit damage against vulnerabilities. These effects can stack up to five times, doubling their bonuses at max stacks.
The new Relic abilities help you in many situations, whether you want to sneak around, go in with guns blazing, or make use of melee contraptions.

There are certainly a lot of viable options here among the Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty Relic abilities. We prefer Jailbreak since it adds new options in how we approached combat, and it's especially useful if you like to use the Mantis Blades or Gorilla Arms. Vulnerability Analytics is also great if you can hit vulnerabilities often.
