Cyberpunk 2077 PC Hotfix Is Out Now, Patch Notes Released
The latest update for the RPG has arrived on PC, making a series of key fixes.
A new "hotfix" for Cyberpunk 2077 has arrived on PC, bringing with it some key fixes, even if the list of changes isn't all that extensive.
Hotfix 1.12 is being distributed now on PC, and one of the big-ticket items it addresses is a vulnerability related to remote code execution, including save files. The update also fixes an issue with buffer overruns and removes non-ASLR DLLs.

Cyberpunk 2077 released in December behind huge sales and good review scores, but the game's last-gen console editions were riddled with bugs. CD Projekt Red has continued to patch those versions of the game, as well as the PS5/Series X|S editions, along with PC.
While Cyberpunk 2077's initial release might not have gone exactly to CDPR's plan, the game sold 13 million copies at launch--after refunds--to stand as one of the most successful RPG launches in the history of video games. According to SuperData, the game also had the biggest launch for a digital game of all time.
