Microsoft has officially announced that it has been working on a Crimson Skies game for the Xbox called Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge. As air pirate Nathan Zachary, players will pilot 10 types of craft in 1930s America. Each plane in the game is loaded with an assortment of weapons, including napalm missiles, magnetic grapples, and sandstorm cannons. Players will even be able to trigger landslides or collapse bridges to take out enemies. Microsoft also has plans to incorporate a split-screen multiplayer mode that supports four-player dogfighting.

Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge is scheduled for release in the fall.
