Creepshow Season 3 Already In Development

Season 1 of Shudder's horror anthology show arrived last year, but Season 2 has been delayed.

Comments

When Shudder's updating of the classic '80s horror anthology Creepshow was released last October, it quickly became the streaming service's most popular release to date. The series has been greenlit for Season 2, and now scripts have been ordered for a potential third season.

Filming for Creepshow Season 2 was set to commence in March, but the COVID-19 pandemic meant that production was postponed. However, showrunner Greg Nicotero has revealed that he is using the downtime to prepare stories for the third season.

"Creepshow continues to be near and dear to my heart and having the opportunity to continue the legacy by developing Season 3 gives me the chance to work with some of the best storytellers and artists in the business," Nicotero said. "The stories we have in the pipeline for Season 2 are even more outrageous, more fun and capture the spirit of what George Romero and Stephen King started in the '80s."

As well as being available on Shudder, Creepshow Season 1 is also now available on Blu-ray. The Blu-ray set includes all six episodes, plus a variety of bonus features, including cast and crew interviews and audio commentaries.
