Before Shudder's Creepshow Season 2, You'll Be Able To Watch Season 1 On Blu-Ray
Creepshow creeps onto Blu-ray.
Creepshow is the much-loved 1982 horror anthology movie from George Romero and Stephen King, and last year, it inspired a new TV series. Creepshow Season 1 presented 12 new scary stories, which were released weekly on the horror streaming service Shudder. It has now been announced that the series is heading to Blu-ray and DVD in May, and you can pre-order it now at Amazon.
Creepshow Season 1 hits shelves on May 19. As well as all six episodes of the season, the set will include a variety of bonus features:
- Cast and Crew Interviews
- Behind the Scenes Footage
- Creepshow Season 1 Easter Eggs Featurette
- Audio Commentaries with Cast and Crew
- Episode and Comic Art Photo Galleries
- Comic Art Booklet
In addition, Creepshow Season 1 is set to screen on AMC later in the year. AMC is Shudder's parent company.
Creepshow has been a big hit for Shudder; in October, the company revealed that it is the most-watched series that it has released so far. The show has been greenlit for Season 2, with Greg Nicotero acting as showrunner once more. No premiere date has been announced for Creepshow Season 2 yet, but a release in the weeks leading up to Halloween this year seems like a good bet.
