Contest offers advance copies of Halo 2 as prizes
Mountain Dew, 7-Eleven, and Xbox will award winners with advance copies of the limited edition of the Xbox shooter.
Xbox has teamed up with Mountain Dew and 7-Eleven to offer contestants a chance to win copies of Halo 2 more than a week before it hits stores on November 9. Hopefuls can enter the contest via a mailed entry form or an online entry form at 7-Elevens Web site. Winners will be declared on or around October 28.
One grand prize winner will receive a five-day trip to the 2004 Spike TV Video Game Awards, an advance copy of the limited edition Halo 2, an Xbox, an Xbox Live Starter Kit, and a one-year subscription to Xbox Magazine. In addition to the grand prize, hundreds of copies of Halo 2 and Xbox Live Starter Kits will be awarded to first-, second-, and third-place winners.
A second drawing will feature the same grand prize package, but it will also include a trip to Halo 2 developer Bungie Studios in Redmond, Washington. That drawing will occur on or around November 30.
