Combat Flight Sim 3 goes gold

Microsoft Game Studios has announced that Combat Flight Simulator 3 is complete. The third game in the Combat Flight Sim series features an open-ended historical campaign structure that lets players enter the air war in northwest Europe starting in the middle of 1943. During the campaign, the results of each mission carry over to the next and can influence the course of the war. Surviving squadrons can add new planes and technology to their arsenal over the course of the campaign.

Combat Flight Simulator 3 will ship to stores in North America on October 24. For more details, check out our previous coverage of the game.
