Activision said 100% of the net proceeds of this DLC pack will go to the Call of Duty Endowment. This is Activision's charity that helps to place military veterans in civilian jobs after they leave the service. There have been Call of Duty Endowment store bundles for numerous other Call of Duty games over the years.

Activision is releasing Modern Warfare III on November 10, the day before Veterans Day, an annual American federal holiday that honors military veterans.

Modern Warfare III is a direct sequel to 2022's Modern Warfare II, continuing the story of Task Force 141 as they hunt down the infamous Call of Duty villain Makarov. Reviews for the campaign have begun to appear online, and critics are generally not loving it. GameSpot's Modern Warfare III campaign review scored the game a 5/10. The multiplayer goes live on November 10, which is also when Zombies becomes available.

As for Call of Duty: Warzone, it's getting a big new map, Urzikstan, as part of Season 1 in December.
