Now Playing: Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War & Warzone The Haunting Trailer

  • Scream Deathmatch: Two players become masked Ghostface killers chasing after "survivors" in a game of hide-and-seek.
  • Infected mode with a new twist: it’s an18-player game of Zombies vs. Survivors, where Survivors now earn bonuses with each zombie player they kill.
  • Halloween Prop Hunt: This mode will let players hide around the map as skulls, jack-o'-lanterns, black cats, bats, skeletons, and more in Call of Duty's hide-and-seek mode.

Zombies

For Zombies, The Haunting event adds the new All Hallows' Eve Outbreak mode, in which players will need to survive for 10 minutes and exfiltrate from a single Outbreak region. This holiday version is more difficult than standard Outbreak mode, as the difficulty of the region will increase every two minutes. Ultimately, this means more zombies and greater difficulty to kill them. When the 10-minute time limit is reached, the exfil point will spawn and players will need to fight to safely exfil from the match.

Outbreak's Survival mode, which was previously a co-op mode for public matches, has been made available for both private matches and solo play.

Additionally, the patch notes include more fixes for Season 6's Forsaken map. This includes issues that allowed players to become invisible while playing an arcade game, as well as messages players received that warned of being out of bounds within legitimate play spaces. Forsaken's Abomination enemy type received fixes for issues that caused the creature to get stuck at various map points, and it also addressed problems that caused the Abomination not to break crystals properly for the map's main Easter egg step.

The full October 19 patch notes can be seen below, as shared by Treyarch.

Call of Duty content continues as Activision Blizzard faces a lawsuit from the state of California over alleged harassment and discrimination against women.
