Civilization III: Conquests marches to stores

Civilization III: Conquests, the latest expansion pack for the wildly popular Civilization III game, shipped out to stores today. The second expansion pack for the Firaxis strategy title includes all the features of the first, Civilization III: Play the World.

Among its other new features Conquests adds seven new civilizations and offers eight new historical scenarios, including World War II and the civil wars of feudal Japan. For a more in-depth look at the game, please peruse GameSpot's hands-on preview.

Civilization III: Conquests is rated 'E' for everyone, and retails for $29.99. It requires the original Civilization III to play.
