Some of these city-scapes include Caguana, Singapore, Lahore, Vatican City, and more. Further, the Maya & Gran Colombia Pack includes other natural wonders like Paititi and Fountain of Youth.

The biggest addition to Civ 6 from the expansion pack is the Apocalypse mode. It introduces new disaster types--Solar Flares that cause forest fires and Comet Impacts that result in meteor showers--to all games while increasing the size of existing disasters. In addition to this, the Apocalypse mode adds the new Soothsayer support military unit that can trigger natural disasters and a scored competition that allows you to sacrifice units to volcanoes. The Gathering Storm expansion is required to play the new Apocalypse mode.

The New Frontier Pass retails for $40, while the Maya & Gran Colombia Pack can be purchased individually for $9. You can check out some of the expansion's screenshots below.

Civ 6 is the Epic Games Store's freebie this week. You have until May 28 at 8 AM PT / 11 AM ET to download the game at no cost--all you have to do is create a free Epic account, turn on two-factor authentication, and Civ 6 is yours to keep.
