Developers Infinity Ward and Raven Software have rolled out a small Call of Duty: Warzone playlist update across PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The update, which is available now, brings Duos back. The mode has been absent for the game for some time in favor of other squad sizes, but you won't have to say goodbye to any of them this time around.

In addition to Duos, Warzone players can check out a handful of other game modes, such as Solos, Trios, Quads, and Plunder Quads. Duos, the headlining feature that originally didn't launch within Warzone, has been absent for quite some time, making it one of the more fan-requested modes.

This follows a playlist update announcement made earlier this week, in which Infinity Ward confirmed that some of Warzone's game modes would be removed. This included Battle Royale Trios Classic and Blood Money Trios. Modern Warfare also saw some of its multiplayer modes adjusted, such as Hardhat 24/7 getting removed, Shipment 24/7 and Shoot House 24/7 being added, and more.

Both Modern Warfare and Warzone will see a Double XP event all weekend long. From now until June 1 at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET, you can get double XP in either game, as well as Double Weapon XP and Double Battle Pass tier progression. This will signify the end of Season 3, which concludes around the same time the event ends. Season 4 follows not long after, kicking off on June 3 with a brand-new Battle Pass and Operator.

In other Call of Duty news, the next entry in the long-running franchise is another Black Ops game. Titled Black Ops: Cold War, an official reveal of some sort has been reported to appear in Warzone. Nothing official regarding Black Ops: Cold War has been made public as of yet, though Warzone players have spotted a Cold War spyplane by glitching through walls.
