Call Of Duty: Warzone Adds Another Way To "Win"

You no longer have to survive until the end of the match to win.

Comments

Surviving until you're the last player or team standing in Call of Duty: Warzone is no longer the only way to win a match of the popular battle royale game.

With the upcoming Season 1 Reloaded update, Warzone is introducing the ability to perform a "covert exfil." Players can purchase these from buy stations before the gulag closes, and there are only five available per match. Purchasing a covert exfil calls in a helicopter that will fly you out of the battlefield and into safety.

Warzone will also add a leaderboard that tracks who has the most successful covert exfils. These do not count as a traditional "win," however, and they won't count toward Champion's Quest progress. More information will be announced soon, Raven Software said.

Activision is also adding a new "weapon case" to Warzone with the Season 1 Reloaded update. It spawns each round on the map and once located, the player holding it will be marked on the enemy radar for the entire match. Players who successfully hold the case until they perform a covert exfil or win the match will earn "exclusive rewards." In team modes, teammates will earn rewards as well.

Season 1 Reloaded also adds a new core multiplayer map for Modern Warfare III, Rio, as well as another DLC Operator from The Boys. There is also a new multiplayer event called Supe Siege.
