Also of interest for Call of Duty: Vanguard is the required storage space, coming from a franchise that's notorious for huge file sizes. The full game will only require 61 GB at launch, or players who are stretched for space can install just Zombies and Multiplayer at a smaller 36 GB requirement. If space isn't an issue, players can also choose to enable the Hi-Rez Assets Cache, which is described as "optional disk space that can be used to stream high resolution assets." While the file size is quite reasonable compared to other COD games, the requirement is listed as "at launch," meaning it's possible Vanguard's storage requirements will balloon with future updates.

Activision has also released details about preloading on Call of Duty: Vanguard, which is available now. The game will release on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, and PC on November 5.
