Vault Edition and other rewards unlock

Once the full game is live, anyone who purchased the Vault Edition will gain access to the Nemesis operator skins and the Fate weapon vaults. Additionally, all earned cosmetics become available for those who unlocked them during the beta, as well as the campaign early access rewards.

Level up rank and weapons

Just like past Call of Duty games, you'll be able to level up through the military ranks from 1-55 to unlock all base multiplayer and Zombies loadout items. This includes all the normal perks, killstreaks, and equipment.

You'll be able to level up each of the primary and secondary weapons in Modern Warfare 3 to unlock attachments for customization. Additionally, you'll be able to level up any weapons from 2022's Modern Warfare 2 that you haven’t finished. All of MW2 weapons are carried over to Modern Warfare 3 as part of Call of Duty's new Carry Forward program, which transfers over most items from Modern Warfare 2 to Modern Warfare 3, but you can read the full Carry Forward details here to find out everything that's included.

Preseason challenges

Modern Warfare 3's preseason has six different types of challenges to complete:

  • Daily
  • Weekly
  • Armory
  • Weapons
  • Operators
  • Calling cards

Weapon challenges include the typical Call of Duty camo challenges for the entire MW3 weapon pool.

Multiplayer and Zombies content

As previously announced, Modern Warfare 3's multiplayer is set to launch with a variety of playlists for standard 6v6, large-scale Ground War, and War modes. Standard multiplayer will arrive with all 16 maps remastered from 2009's Modern Warfare 2, but select maps from 2022's Modern Warfare 2 will arrive shortly after launch.

On the Zombies side, you can fight the mysterious Terminus Outcomes PMC as part of Modern Warfare 3's Operation Deadbolt narrative. The mode launches with dozens of missions and hordes of zombies on Warzone's new Urzikstan map. More information on Urzikstan can be found here, including a full map overview.

Continue MW2 battle pass completion

Playing Modern Warfare 3 counts toward the completion of Modern Warfare 2's Season 6 battle pass, so you can finish any tiers you haven't unlocked yet. All content within this pass carries forward and can be used in Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone.

A specific date hasn't been announced for the start of Season 1, but sometime in early December the first full season will go live with the integration of the new Urzikstan map for Warzone. Here is everything we know so far about all the changes with Warzone, including perks, new Gulag mechanics, and additional maps.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 officially launches on November 10, but you can start playing the campaign as early as November 2 if you preordered a digital copy. You can unlock bonus rewards by playing the campaign during early access, and here's everything you can earn.
