Call Of Duty Mobile Season 3 Adds New Operator Skill, SMG, And MP Map

Season 3 aims to turn back time with a vintage theme for Call of Duty Mobile, and Activision's latest blog post details what that entails. As per the blog post, a new battle pass, operator skill, DLC weapon, and multiplayer map are on the way.

Call of Duty Mobile Season 3: Vintage Vigilance arrives on March 13 at 5 PM PT / 8 PM ET. This new season includes a brand-new battle pass with 50 tiers of free and premium items, including new operator skins, weapon blueprints, CoD Points, and various cosmetics themed around mobsters and vintage style.

The highlights of the free battle pass tiers include a new operator skill and submachine gun. Originally featured in Black Ops Cold War, the TEC-9 semi-automatic submachine gun is making its return. The new Havoc operator skill allows players the ability to create an area of effect that jams the enemy's radar and disables equipment within its radius.

For the premium pass, players can unlock gangster-themed operator skins for Sliver, Ethan, Sims, and Seraph. Weapon blueprints are available for the M13 assault rifle, HDR sniper rifle, and Season 3's new TEC-9 submachine gun.

The season's "new" map is Cheshire Park, which was originally introduced in Modern Warfare 2019. This is a medium-sized map with a classic three-lane layout featuring a city courtyard and fountain.

Season 3 also includes new events and challenges. Contraband Chase is an event where players must collect and deliver cargo to earn points and unlock rewards like weapon blueprints and operator skins. Spring Easter Hunt is an event that lets players crack open Easter eggs for points that can be redeemed for Easter-themed rewards.

A few store bundles are revealed for Season 3, including the Top Sleuth bundle themed around a classic detective and the Lone Shot bundle is described as a gothic-style gunslinger.

In other Call of Duty news, Season 2 Reloaded launched for Warzone and MW3, which adds Warhammer 40,000's Space Marines, another Dune crossover event, and more Zombies content.
