Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare's new remastered version, Modern Warfare Remastered, will include the famous game's multiplayer mode--and we recently saw the first footage. Now, Activision has confirmed that the multiplayer announcer from the 2007 game will also be featured in the new version.

Raven Software lead designer Amos Hodge confirmed this on Twitter (via Charlie Intel). He clarified that this pertains to the original modes, but possibly not the new ones that are being added.

Modern Warfare Remastered will have all the modes from the original as well as new ones, apparently, that have not yet been announced. The game will launch with 10 multiplayer maps, while six more will be delivered as downloadable content in December.

Hodge shared some further details on how Raven Software, which is owned by Activision and is working on Modern Warfare Remastered, is updating the classic for new consoles.

Modern Warfare Remastered is included with Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare's premium editions, which start at $80. Activision has not said if Modern Warfare Remastered will ever be offered on its own.

Infinite Warfare comes out on November 4 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
