The deal is good until December 10.

Microsoft has launched a new deal where you can get a free controller when you buy any new Xbox One or Xbox One S. The offer is available at Microsoft's own store, as well as Amazon, Target, GameStop, Best Buy, and Walmart.

You will have to act somewhat quickly to take advantage, as the promotion runs until this Saturday, December 10. Extra controllers normally go for $60 each, though you can usually find them for cheaper.

The freebie controller is the new, Bluetooth-enabled one that also features textured grips and better wireless range. It launched in August with the Xbox One S.

Microsoft's own store is sweetening the deal somewhat. In addition to the bonus controller, it's throwing in a free Ubisoft game with the purchase of a new Xbox One or Xbox One S.

There are quite a few Xbox One console options, as Microsoft offers 500 GB, 1 TB, and 2 TB systems that come with bundled games like Gears of War 4, Battlefield 1, FIFA 17, Madden 17, or Minecraft.

The Xbox One has been the best-selling console in the US since July. We'll learn if the streak continues for a fifth month in the row this Thursday, December 8, when the NPD Group releases its November report.
