Back in August, THQ let it slip that a fourth Broken Sword game was on its way for the PC with a planned summer 2006 release. Today the company unveiled the game's proper name, the quite-menacing Broken Sword: The Angel of Death.

The fourth game sees series sleuth George Stobbart fall in love with a mysterious woman, but the happiness is not meant to last. The damsel's disappearance draws George into an international search for a powerful artifact to save the world once again. There is of course a nefarious plot afoot, powerful factions to contend with, and a big secret at the heart of everything. In a potential spoiler, THQ has said that the secret "will ultimately lead George's latest adventure to a painful and bitter conclusion."
