Wow another Blizzcon showing the same games as the last one. Having Blizzcon is like informing a mature woman that tampons exist with tampon commercials. We all know the games are coming, so why do we need a con to sell what is already sold?

I think SC2 will be released during the summer >.> as its been nearly 2 months since closed beta for it has begun, but then again, blizz takes their time on releases till they get everything solid, thats what i luv about them.

Possibly a trailer for the Warcraft movie as well?

Blizzard are dedicated to their fans. They recently (as in a few days ago) released a patch for Diablo 2! A game that is 9/10 years old! How many companies are releasing patches for their games after a decade?

I can't wait till Starcraft II and then Diablo 3 hits the shelves. Couldn't care less about Wow. Also how can a game be delayed if Blizzard haven't put a release date on it...? Its ready when its ready.

Granted, Blizzard loses money on the event itself, but they know the publicity gained from it is worth 100 times their investment.

"Blizzard needs to cut costs if Blizzcon is unprofitable. 20,000 $125 tickets sold in less than a minute plus the DirecTV customers that watched at home and merchandise that must've been sold at Blizzcon equals a lot of money. If that is unprofitable they are spending way too much money on it." They've said they don't care how much they spend on it. They're more than comfortable losing money on a weekend for their fans.

Some dates regarding game releases (Starcraft 2 & Diablo 3) would be greatly appreciated!

What I expect to hear from BlizzCon 2010: Cataclysm will most likely be out by then so something about WoW: Cataclysm's future patches. The next WoW will probably not be announced at this BlizzCon. Diablo 3's 5th and final class. Something about Starcraft 2: Heart of the Swarm. The new MMO.

Just assembled my desktop PC, got R5770 card, should be able to handle it easily... Hope Blizzard does NOT delay it to "2011 TBC"...lol...

Well put avenger! Although this is the time where they get people to go away from home and ... Listen to some boring speeches on what flavor the crack the fanbois will be smoking "sometime in the future". And once again get them to pay for same by letting them into a concert by some forgettable band(or in previous years...wannabe bands).See first hand(like looking in the mirror)just how geeky and loserish the crowds are. If your lucky you may meet a hot gamer babe there, they entice... Yea real lucky like winning powerball with 11111111 =p.

So yet another year will pass before Diablo 3 comes out. Blizzard sure do like to rival Valve at being one of the slowest developers on the planet. Probably busy counting all the money rolling in from WoW. Or is this Blizzcon where they announce Diablo 3 will actually come in several parts, each to be sold seperately?

Not much hyped about Cataclysm as much as I am with D3 and especially SC2. I believe that SC2 will most likely be released before blizzcon and thus they might tell us something about its first expansion (Heart of the Swarm) during the event. As for D3, since the Wizard and Monk classes were announced during the third and forth blizzcon events, so I think that the fifth class will be announced on this event. If that's the case, then there is a 14 months wait time between the announcement of the monk and the fifth class :O Days are running fast anyways, 7 months of waiting will feel like 7 days at a certain point. Anyone else thinks that maybe the new blizzard MMO might be announced at this blizzcon :P

I hope Diablo III comes out this year!!!

Blizzard just needs to host a raffle for Felicia Day's phone number or something, and attendance will be jam-packed. Can't wait for StarCraft 2. My gaming buddies are all getting their machines ready, the headsets are go, Pam has her lucky plush koala... all waiting for that first Zerg rush.

@rodsar ...um.. what do you mean it cam in the same style??? where you looking for a first-person diablo3? Because from playing it at blizzcon last year.. I can tell you, that the demo was already 100% more fun then Diablo 2. It's beautiful, and the controls SOOO SOO SOO much better. I'm still playing it today, but jesus, I sure wish that I can do other powers without switching through the GD 'F' buttons... @starcrafthenry WHY THANK YOU!! As much as I would love to have Diablo 3 take over the show with an avalanche of information.... BUT.. i'm sure they are going to announce, their new title this year....

Damn, you Diablo fans are so impatient. Try waiting nearly 12 years for the first sequel in your series, and then we can talk about what's taking too long. However, I expect Starcraft 2 to be released before Blizzcon this year, so you Diablo fans can have the whole show.

I waited a long time for Diablo III, but exactly what happened should happen, a game came in the same style and I gave up on Diablo III. The name is Demon's Souls (PS3). Goodbye Blizzard, we are not idiots.

Agreed. October is way too far, which pretty much guarantees no updates will come up between now and then about any of their games. Bleh.

I haven't been to any blizzcon because I don't live in the USA and getting to the USA is really difficult.. having to fly an ocean, get a visa and not get turned back at the last minute due to some bulls**t law or rule... so yeah.. but still. Anyway, not a big WoW player myself but I am looking forward to SC2... will buy that game (though I admit that WoW is Blizzards money-making machine)... but at least the people that are paying for WoW are getting their money worth! I am so happy for Blizzard! Keep up making those great games! Also, you could make another Vikings game :)

Too bad Diablo 3 will remain in shadows for this year as well.... They want to hype WoW and SC2 more and diablo less and is logical too since they want people buy their products. I would love to see the fifth class in diablo 3 and how they managed with dungeons yet. Excited yes , but i want more diablo than previous slacky D3 blizzcon. We know what WoW is about and what will see so SC2... Its time for some D3 real news now i think....But that will ruin WoWs and SC2 hype... So D3 lovers wait for 2011 blizzcon... :)

I would like to see some Warcraft 4 news. But Diablo 3 and Starcraft 2 are getting me bored with long development but that ensures tons of gameplay hours, please more news and still patience from me.

There is no way Blizzard is going to announce the Star craft 2 release date before Blizzcon. So it look like is will be a Q3/Q4 release date if we are lucky. Probably end up being mid 2011 knowing them.

I'm kinda weirded out by Blizzard really. I find it good that they're not making any signs of a console move especially with PC Gaming on a bad spot. Yet I don't like how Blizzard these years sound like money-making hogs with World of Warcraft. Nevertheless, I wanna go to Blizzcon. Sadly, I'm not living in the US.
