Winston Duke is going from challenging the Black Panther to becoming the Dark Knight. The actor who played M'Baku is set to star as the voice of Bruce Wayne in the Batman Unburied podcast, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Here's the official synopsis for Batman Unburied:

"When audiences meet Bruce Wayne he is a forensic pathologist, working in the bowels of Gotham Hospital and tasked with examining the victims of The Harvester, a gruesome serial killer preying on Gotham’s citizens. Not only will the superhero be forced to face his own mental demons, but he will also have to overcome them in order to save the citizens of Gotham as his alter-ego Batman."

If Bruce Wayne having a job seems weird, don't worry--he's still so rich that he has a personal butler. Spotify also announced that Jason Isaacs will play Bruce's butler Alfred Pennyworth for the podcast. While Duke is new to DC and voice acting, Isaacs is anything but. The veteran actor has, in addition to playing Lucius Malfoy in the Harry Potter films, voiced Superman, Ra's Al Ghul, Sinestro, and Lex Luthor in previous DC projects. Duke, meanwhile, starred in Jordan Peele's Us, Spenser Confidential, Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame, and is set to appear in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, too.

Batman Unburied, written by David S. Goyer (The Dark Knight, Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance) is just the first collaboration between Spotify and DC. The deal between Spotify and Warner Bros. features a "full slate of narrative podcasts featuring some of DC's biggest heroes and villains," according to DC. Other characters we can look forward to joining the podcast world are Superman, Lois Lane, Wonder Woman, the Joker, Catwoman, Katana, and others. This is also a separate podcast from HBO Max's Batman: The Audio Adventures, a more comedic take on the character, written by Dennis McNicholas and starring Jeffrey Wright as Batman.

Wright is a Gotham citizen both behind the microphone and in front of the camera, as he's also appearing in Matt Reeves' The Batman as Commissioner Gordon. While you're waiting for Batman Unburied to hit, get caught up everything we know about The Batman, including Reeves' thoughts on Gotham City and Bruce Wayne's struggle, as well as all the stuff you might've missed in the trailer.

Batman Unburied does not yet have a release date.
