BioShock Infinite DLC adding new AI companion?

@JayQproductions @hector530 No and no. First off Andrew Ryan is of russian descent born Andrei Rianofski. Booker is american so relatives go out the window.

Second Andrew Ryan can't be an alternate Booker because alternate realities don't work that way.

Booker can only exist through the exact events that lead to his birth. He was born because a certain woman and man brought him into this world in a certain time. He cannot exist in a different time. If in some reality those factors do not all come together then Booker does not exist elsewhere. He simply never exists.

Then why was Songbird's suit crushed when placed in the water outside Rapture? How can the thing even fly for that matter?

There is a very strong indication that the bird is not a person but a mechanical creation just like the washington and lincoln statues.

@Korvus85 Too true. It's clear they are now working on this extra content. I don't think any of this DLC was even remotely ready by launch.

Which makes for a dicey proposition... "yeah.. buy our Season Pass... for something that does not yet exist... but it's going to be GREAT."

@JayQproductions @Danihound A lot of people never figured this out while playing the game but it was very apparent from the beginning if you caught the image of the statue changing from one Letuce into the other. It was a clear indication that they are in fact the same person from different realities.

@cip_raziel maybe the circle was broken for them, but since the lutuces now are beyond mortal existence they arent affected.

@hector530 @cip_raziel My take on it is that you don't play the same Booker through the whole game. There were several instances, each where he apparently dies and each time you go back to the apartment and he is basically reacquired. Think of some of the extreme falls he takes or where he is so deep in the water that Songbird's eye begins to crack. Who do you think pulled him out of that? He died there and the game just switched to another Booker at the same point who somehow survived or they pulled in another Booker and plugged him into that spot. Remember his nose bleeds often meaning he died in some other time line and he is remembering. Parallel universes where the same thing is happening so they all share the same basic memories. I only feel this way because there's no way he survived some of the things that happen in the game.
